Who says wine gets to have all the fun? We think our new glazed nuts pair wonderfully with any beverage, but these sweet snacks are exceptional for cocktails. We worked with a few of our friendly chefs and bartenders to create the perfect pairing of our glazed nuts with tasty cocktails - excellent for a small gathering of friends or to start and evening out on the town.
Almond PB&J with Peanuts + Berries
Chocolate Milk with a Kick
1/2 cup vodka
1/2 cup chocolate liqueur
4 oz milk
Shake with ice and strain over fresh ice.
Summer Berry Sangria (makes 6 servings)
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup water
1/4 cup creme de cassis
1 1/2 cups assorted berries such as blackberries, strawberries, and raspberries
1 (750-ml) bottle chilled dry rose' wine
2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice, or to taste
Heat sugar, water, and crème de cassis in small saucepan over medium heat, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Place berries in heatproof pitcher. Pour syrup into pitcher and let stand 5 minutes. Add wine and lemon juice and stir mixture well. Chill, covered, until ready to serve. Serve over ice.
Cashews with Pomegranate + Vanilla
Pomegranate Vanilla Chill (makes 2 cocktails)
1/4 cup vanilla vodka
3/4 cup pomegranate cocktail
Splash fresh lime juice
Shake with ice and strain over fresh ice.
Pomatini (makes 2 cocktails)
2 oz vodka
2 oz Cointreau® orange liqueur
1 oz lime juice
3 oz pomegranate juice
Shake with ice. Strain into chilled martini glasses.
Almonds with Cranberries, Honey + Sea Salt
Cranberry Orange Cape Cod (makes 2 cocktails)
1 cup cranberry cocktail
1/2 cup vodka
1/4 cup Grand Marnier
Splash fresh lime juice
Shake with ice and strain over fresh ice. Garnish with lime wedge.
Amaretto Cosmo (makes 2 cocktails)
1/4 cup amaretto
1/4 cup vodka
1/3 cup cranberry cocktail
Splash fresh lime juice
Shake with ice. Strain into chilled martini glasses.
Amaretto Margarita (makes 2 servings)
1/4 cup amaretto
1/4 cup tequila
3/4 cup margarita mixer
Shake with ice and strain over fresh ice. Salt rim of glasses if desired.
